Bathroom and Kitchen

Bathroom and Kitchen - 8th of March 2017

Yesterday was 8th of March, the international woman's day.  Hooray!

We took a day off to go check out the bathroom and kitchen item included in our quote and make changes to them, mainly upgrades!!.

The supplier specified by the builder is B.B.K at Burleigh on the Gold Coast. Travel time is about one hour one way.  We arrived just after 10am and we didn't finish until 1pm.  There are so many decisions have to be made right there and then.  We pretty much upgraded every item except the free standing tap set for the freestanding bath.

It was an eye opening session for me to realized how expensive the taps, shower heads and mixers are!  In addition, the price can vary largely depending on what you choose.  Most of the time, the item that you like are the expensive ones!

A kitchen mixer can be $1,000, such as this Italy made one.
